Welcome to MusafirMart — a halal grocery delivery app designed for the Muslim community. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and services.

By using MusafirMart, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the app.

We collect the following categories of information when you use MusafirMart:

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, biometric data, precise GPS location, or financial account details beyond what is provided by our payment processor.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Order Fulfillment: To process, confirm, and deliver your grocery orders to the address you provide.
• Authentication: To verify your identity via SMS one-time password (OTP) and maintain your account session securely.
• Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and resolve issues with your orders via Telegram or other channels.
• App Improvements: To understand how users interact with the app, fix bugs, and improve the overall experience.
• Order History: To display your past orders so you can reorder easily and track delivery status.
• Notifications: To send you updates about your order status (delivery confirmed, on the way, etc.).
• Legal Compliance: To meet applicable legal, regulatory, or law enforcement requirements.

We only share your information with trusted third parties who are essential to running our service:

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud backend provider with industry-standard security practices including:

Your data may be stored on servers located in the United States or other countries where Supabase operates. By using MusafirMart, you consent to this international transfer of data.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time (see Section 5).

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can request a copy of all personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: You can update your name, delivery address, or other profile details within the app.
• Deletion: You can request that we delete your account and all associated personal data. We will process this within 30 days.
• Opt-out of communications: You can unsubscribe from non-essential notifications at any time from your profile settings.
• Data Portability: You can request a copy of your order history and account data in a readable format.

All payments in MusafirMart are processed through Toss Payments, a licensed payment service provider in South Korea. MusafirMart does not store your full card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials at any point.

When you complete a payment:

• Your card details are entered directly into Toss Payments' secure checkout, never passed through our servers.
• We receive only a payment confirmation key and the transaction status.
• This confirmation key is stored in our database solely for order verification and dispute resolution.

Toss Payments operates under Korean Financial Services Commission (FSC) regulations and maintains its own privacy policy, which governs the processing of your payment data.

MusafirMart is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at @musafir_chunchon on Telegram. We will promptly delete such information from our records.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
• Notify you through an in-app notification or message.
• For material changes, request your renewed consent where required by law.
